December 1st through the 7th is National Crohn’s and Colitis Awareness Week. An important time to raise awareness about Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, which are two types of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that are on the rise in younger people with those in their teens and early twenties becoming diagnosed.
