The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) has announced that the latest draft of the Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Management of Chronic Venous Disease is now available for public comment.
Chronic Venous Disease (CVD) is a condition that is often overlooked by healthcare providers, yet it can have a significant impact on patients’ quality of life. In the United States alone, more than 25 million adults suffer from chronic venous insufficiency. This guideline has been developed to educate and provide comprehensive, evidence-based guidance to support patients, clinicians, and other stakeholders in making informed decisions about the management of CVD.
As part of the development process, SCAI welcomes reviews and feedback from the public. Interested parties are encouraged to submit their comments here by December 11, 2024. Please note that all comments must be completed in one sitting to ensure they are considered.
