Guideline Central works with dozens of leading medical associations (e.g. American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association) to develop and distribute valuable resources and programs that educate healthcare professionals on current evidence-based best practices to improve healthcare outcomes. Our company’s mission is to support clinicians, and to improve healthcare outcomes for patients across the globe. We are seeking a motivated front-end/PHP/Wordpress focused full-stack software developer to join our growing in-house development team. Our company has an office in Sanford, FL, and this position would be a hybrid 3/2 split.
Individuals applying for this position will enjoy working with a small, yet growing team, and should able to creatively problem solve. This position provides you the opportunity to build a service used by nearly a million clinicians caring for patients, and most importantly, helps to saves lives.
Example Responsibilities and Day to Day Duties:
- Support digital (both web and mobile) development efforts for the company
- Develop, maintain and update WordPress websites and plugins/extensions
- Develop, maintain and manage shopping cart and subscriptions (WooCommerce)
- Help develop and refine the UI/UX for various websites and mobile app
- Support development of cross platform mobile apps
- Design and create various sites, landing pages, emails and similar for projects and partnerships

Experience and Requirements:
- 3+ years with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) server environment, and all its technologies
- React (ReactJS and React Native)
- HTML5
- CSS3+
- Javacript
- ECMAScript 6 and Jquery
- WordPress plugin creation
- RESTful APIs
- GIT
Nice to Have (but not required):
- WooCommerce experience
- Experience designing mobile app screens
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices
- Color theory / Typography
- Jira and agile experience
- Any experience in healthcare
