The current update addresses LOS across the spectrum of clinical presentations including ACS. Recommendations in this document replace those of the 2009 Consensus Statement and are patient‐centered, evidence‐based wherever possible, and focused on ensuring the best outcomes by establishing the critical milestones on the path to discharge.
